Ok then, here's installment two. I tried my hand at the noise removal, I normalized everything first, then lowered the volume on a noise sample, then removed that twice from the final product. Seems to almost remove the noise without completely making me sound like a robot... so I'll stick with it. Also worked on getting the music to voice volumes about right. Oh, and I changed the format a good bit. Focusing on regions or alliances seemed like a bad idea. Now I just go through the week from start to finish.

Maybe this is worth trying: As a new player, a system name, region name or alliance name does not tell me anything, so I am listening to unknown names while looking at a colorful map - which does not show me anything either. Not sure - would it add a lot to the production effort to highlight the piece of the map you are talking about: "ABC attached DEF in Stain", and show a red circle above the Stain region
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was trying to avoid that since it is some extra work. But it sounds like a really good idea, I think I'll be doing that in the next episode.
